Once Wed - John + Yoko

A John + Yoko inspired palette and wedding scape for Once Wed. Collaboration with my dear friend and design cohort Kelly Harris. Shot by the one and only Bonnie Tsang. Excited to be a part of Once Wed's monthly contributors on wedding ideas. We will be designing a shoot inspired by famous couples twice a month. See full story here.

le birth day

I'm a Capricorn. Every January I take the whole month to celebrate my birthday.

Narcissistic? Perhaps.

I prefer to think I'm just really crazy happy about being born.

Work + celebrating + daydreaming have kept me from blogging. But I'll be back on the horse soon.

Happy Birthday to me.

Woo Hoo!

One of my rad brides, Michelle Woo, told me she wanted her wedding to be "fun, happy, personal".

This is my inspiration board for her.

She loved it.

post-holiday blues

I'm not posting much. I'm playing serious catch-up with work + the rest of the time I'm curled up acting like a brat whining that it's no longer the holidays.

I miss the snow up North.

I miss the repeated Christmas movies on every channel. {especially Elf}

I miss my painted tree.

I miss the energy of excited kids waiting for Santa.

I miss the egg nog + spiced punch.

I miss the gluttonous meals. {why do we all have to pretend to diet come the new year?}

I miss the optimistic spirit which seems to hover in the air the month of December.

I miss ignoring the emails.

I miss sleeping in.

I miss the paper cuts from wrapping presents.

Okay, I'll stop.
